Government Description
Stevedoring and related terminal services provided at designated seaports within Kuwait in connection with the import and export of Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored cargo. The contractor performs all tasks per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in accordance with best commercial practices, supplying all gear, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), materials, supplies, management, and qualified general and skilled labor necessary to operate the seaport terminals. Performance is measured against specific objectives and standards outlined in the PWS, with requirements for a Quality Control Inspection Plan (QCIP) and operational reporting to maintain cargo accountability.
