Government Description
PROVIDE STEVEDORING AND RELATED TERMINAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION TO THE IMPORT AND EXPORT OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (DOD) SPONSORED CARGO. SERVICES ARE PERFORMED AT THE PORT OF CONSTANTA, ROMANIA, SUPPORTING U.S. ARMY AND AIR FORCE UNITS IN THE EUCOM THEATER AND NATO EXERCISES. TASKS INCLUDE HANDLING DEFENSE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (DTS) SPONSORED CARGO, PARTICIPATING IN TRAINING EVENTS, EXERCISES, AND DRILLS RELATED TO CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS PROCEDURES, AND MAINTAINING A MISSION-ESSENTIAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES PLAN TO ENSURE ESSENTIAL SERVICES CONTINUE DURING CRISES. ALL TASKS SHALL BE COMPLETED PER REQUIREMENTS STATED THROUGHOUT THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) AND IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH SAFETY, EFFICIENCY, AND U.S. WARFIGHTERS IN MIND.
