Overview
Government Description
Global transportation and storage of privately owned vehicles. Services include operating multiple vehicle processing centers (VPCS), preparing vehicles for shipment, obtaining agriculture and customs clearances, and providing inland and ocean transportation between VPCS, storage facilities, and other designated locations worldwide. The contractor Is Also Responsible For Calculating Excess Shipment Costs, Providing in-Transit Visibility (ITV), arranging storage in support of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders and deployments, resolving inconvenience, loss, and damage claims, and providing required data and statistical reports to USTRANSCOM. All work is performed in accordance with Defense Transportation Regulations (DTR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and applicable regulations for Department of Defense (DOD) sponsored shipments.
