Government Description
ATAC IV base period. This award provides transportation services to move Freight All Kinds (FAK) repairable parts within and between all 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada for the naval supply systems command (NAVSUP) advanced traceability and control (ATAC) program. Includes consolidated movement of not ready for issue (NRFI), redistribution order (RDO), ready for issue (RFI), carcass express/routine material, and express service for Repair and Return (R&R) shipments, as well as process improvements focused on distribution-related functions and supply chain efficiency. The ATAC program is responsible for tracking, tracing, packing, reporting, and movement of high dollar Depot Level Repairables (DLR) product lines, including marine aviation, Ground Marine (GM), coast guard material, and aircraft engines.
