Government Description
IDIQ to issue funded delivery orders to acquire autoclave systems and operating control systems. Includes replacement of biocontainment sterilizer units, including removal and disposal of existing units, installation of new units with biocontainment bioseal, certification and validation, and upgrade of software operating control systems for existing pass-through biocontainment autoclaves. The contractor will also provide installation, deinstallation, equipment assembly, leveling, identification of utility connection points, equipment startup, and operator and supervisor training for the new units. All regulated medical waste from laboratories and biocontainment spaces (BSL-3 and BSL-4) must be sterilized prior to disposition in accordance with AR 385-10, da pam 385-69, dodm 6055.18, and bmbl 6TH edition.
