Dec 2024:
Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL), Laurel, Maryland, is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum amount of $3,000,000,000. Under this follow-on contract, JHU/APL will provide essential and critical engineering, research, and development capabilities and services in the continued research and development of the Missile Defense System. A task order valued at $7,000,000 is being issued. The work will be performed in Laurel, Maryland. The ordering period is Jan. 11, 2025, through Jan. 10, 2034. This contract permits other than full an open competition in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(31) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii). Fiscal 2025 research, developmental, test and evaluation funds are being obligated at the time of award.
