Government Description
LEASE OF ADMINISTRATIVE VEHICLES IN SUPPORT OF DODEA PACIFIC EAST DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT OFFICE AND SCHOOLS. PROVIDES LEASED VEHICLES, INCLUDING SEDANS, MICRO/MINIVANS, AND EIGHT-PASSENGER VANS WITH BOTH 2WD AND 4WD CONFIGURATIONS, TO TRANSPORT PASSENGERS AND CARGO FOR DODEA PACIFIC EAST DISTRICT SCHOOLS AND OFFICES IN MAINLAND JAPAN. ALL VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO BE DEFECT-FREE, SAFE, SECURE, COMPLIANT WITH GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN (GOJ) AND US FORCES-JAPAN (USFJ) MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS, AND EITHER NEWLY MANUFACTURED OR NOT OLDER THAN THREE YEARS AT CONTRACT AWARD. THE CONTRACTOR IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, EMERGENCY REPAIRS, ENSURING VALID MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES, AND MAINTAINING LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR ALL LEASED VEHICLES.
