Overview
Government Description
Provides the program executive office, transport with electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) engineering support services for the installation of new or upgraded commercial telecommunication equipment on Department of Defense (DOD) and federal property. The contractor will analyze equipment and systems for potential E3 problems and recommend solutions, conduct analyses to determine potential electromagnetic interference from proposed telecommunications systems to existing military and government systems, and assess electromagnetic radiation hazards (RADHAZ) from telecommunications transmitters to personnel and ordnance. Additional tasks include performing on-site measurements, utilizing government-supplied databases for frequency assignments and equipment parameters, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and requirement fulfillment. Work will primarily take place at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) facilities located in Fort Meade, MD.
