Nov 2015:
Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Redondo Beach, California has been awarded a maximum $99,900,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for KGV-72 Type I Programmable Inline Encryption Devices (PIEDs). KGV-72 Type I PIEDs will provide the ability to process classified messaging traffic via the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) program. This is a five year base contract with five one-year option periods. Work will be performed in Rochester, New York with an estimated completion date of Nov. 15, 2020. Fiscal year 2015 other procurement Army funds in the amount of $1,000,000 are being obligated on the first delivery order (0001) to satisfy the minimum guarantee. Proposals were solicited via the FedBizOpps website and two proposals were received. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott AFB, Illinois, is the contracting activity.
