Government Description
Contractor shall supply safran air and ground data recorders for edwards AFB, NASA and other DOD agencies, and ancillary services. Provides Airborne Data Recorders (ADR) and Ground Data Recorders (GDR), components, technical engineering support, upgrades and enhancements, and repair services to sustain safran data recorders. Includes furnishing recorders, parts, evaluation, laboratory testing, high speed data acquisition systems, modular data recorders, video signal interface modules, connector kits, and ethernet modules for monitoring, control, and configuration. Services support the Air Force test center at edwards AFB, eglin AFB, and other DOD and NASA activities in the continental U.S.

Safran Data Systems, Norcross, Georgia, has been awarded a $45,200,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for intrusion detection system supplies and ancillary services. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, materials and other items necessary to provide recorders, parts, technical engineering support, upgrades and the ability to refurbish or repair for the sustainment of airborne data recorders and ground data recorders for the Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, California; Eglin AFB, Florida; and other Department of Defense and National Aeronautics and Space Administration activities in the continental U.S. Work is expected to be completed Feb. 11, 2026. Fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $350,239 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Test Center, Edwards AFB, California, is the contracting activity (FA9302-21-D-0005).
