Paving service at edwards AFB. This Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract covers paving requirements at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB), California, including the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Air Force plant 42 in palmdale, CA, as well as other tenant organizations. Includes earthwork, soil sampling and testing, removal and disposal of soil, application of prime coat, tack coat, paint binder, asphalt concrete, slurry seal coating, construction seal and rejuvenating agent, fog seal, asphalt and concrete curbs, airfield Portland cement concrete for runways, taxiways, pads, and aprons, penetrative oil and dust palliative treatment, road shoulder maintenance, ditch construction, striping and marking for streets, roads, airfields, and parking lots, demolition of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and pavements, surveys, installation of handicap ramps, fences, gates, lighting standards, guardrails, and other related work. Tasks performed include site support for training aid facilities, perimeter road repair, construction of sidewalks and paths, installation of sunshades and mooring points, pavement maintenance and joint sealing, ramp expansion, ada ramp and walkway construction, minor construction for paved roads and parking areas, crack and slurry sealing, parking lot improvements, concrete pad installation, pavement repairs, runway and taxiway markings, and striping.
