The contract supports the Rocket Systems Launch Program (RSLP) for motor aging surveillance testing, refurbishment, and disposal, including procurement of Motor and Component Test, Evaluation, Engineering Support, And Disposal for Minuteman (MM) and peacekeeper (PK) systems. Work performed includes static fire testing, propellant and igniter dissection, hazard and risk reduction testing, refurbishment studies, data collection, and special studies on motors and components well past their original design life to ensure safety, reliability, and suitability for continued use or disposal.
