Jan 2023: Knowledge Based Systems Inc., College Station, Texas, was awarded a  $49,950,000 single award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee task orders for research and development. This contract provides for primary research of the Avionics Systems Susceptibility and Risk Analysis Toolkit ability to develop model-based cybersecurity and resiliency analysis capability, and the integration of cybersecurity models in a digital engineering ecosystem. Work will be performed in College Station, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2029.  This contract is the result of a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2022, research and development funds in the amount of $495,000; and fiscal 2023, research and development funds in the amount of $150,000 are being obligated at time of award for the first task order.  The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-23-D-1061 and FA8650-23-F-1062, Task Order 1).
