RAPID DEVELOPMENT INTEGRATION FACILITY (RDIF). THE RDIF SERVES AS AN ORGANIC DEVELOPMENT CAPABILITY WITHIN THE AIR FORCE LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT CENTER (AFLCMC) TO ADDRESS AIR FORCE IRREGULAR WARFARE AND C4ISR (COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, COMPUTERS, INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE) ACQUISITION NEEDS, FUNCTIONING AS A CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR AIRCRAFT DEVELOPMENT AND PROTOTYPING. WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES THE RAPID DEVELOPMENT, FABRICATION, PROCUREMENT, DELIVERY, AND INSTALLATION OF AIRCRAFT MODIFICATION KITS, SUPPORT EQUIPMENT, COMMUNICATION UPGRADES, AND SPECIALIZED COMPONENTS FOR A VARIETY OF AIR FORCE PLATFORMS SUCH AS THE AC-130J, B-2, C-5M, C-17, C-130J, F-15, F-16, HC-130J, KC-46, MC-130J, CV-22, AND OTHERS. TASKS ENCOMPASS THE CREATION OF ITEMS SUCH AS CABLE ASSEMBLY SETS, EQUIPMENT RACKS, COMMUNICATION SUITE KITS, RADAR BRACKET KITS, SEAT PLATES, AND MISSION-SPECIFIC MODIFICATION KITS, AS WELL AS THE PROVISION OF TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND SUPPORT FOR PROTOTYPE INTEGRATION AND INSTALLATION.
