Government Description
On call base wide paving and grounds IDIQ at wright patterson Air Force base. The work involves furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances, devices, and materials, and performing all operations necessary for the repair and maintenance of base-wide pavements and grounds, including removals and miscellaneous work as specified. Tasks include road construction such as excavation, sub-grade stabilization with geosynthetic reinforcement, installation of riprap, geotextiles, box culverts, aluminum and hdpe storm drains, slope stabilization, sub-drain systems, concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, asphalt paving with odot aggregates, pavement markers, striping, patching, sealing of cracks, and integration of multiple construction disciplines. Specific projects include constructing new sidewalks, repairing and repaving parking lots and roads, maintaining base-wide crack sealing and striping, constructing and repairing access roads, adding new paved driveways, demolishing unusable parking lots, and connecting sidewalks to parking areas in various locations across areas a and B and the national museum of the US Air Force.
