USAF sniper Comprehensive Advanced Targeting Pod (CATP) support and sustainment is provided for the an/AAQ-33 sniper system. Includes management, engineering, production, fabrication, integration, Configuration Management (CM), testing, test support, hardware and software upgrades, resolution of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS), and logistics support to ensure system availability and reliability Mean Time Between Maintenance Events (MTBME). Additional tasks include pod repair teardown and evaluations, as well as Field Service Engineer (FSE) trips.

Dec 2022: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, was awarded a $225,772,240 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Sniper Comprehensive Advanced Targeting Pod sustainment.  This contract provides for management, engineering, production, fabrication, integration, configuration management, test, test support and logistics support of the sniper system to ensure system availability rate and reliability mean time between maintenance events. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2029. This contract was the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $3,188,724 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8540-23-D-0001).
