Government Description
Jetcal analyzer jd 80 is an Electronic Systems Test Set (ESTS) used for testing, supporting maintenance, and sustainment of TF-33 engines on B-52 and E-3 USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) aircraft. The JD-80 performs tests of gas turbine engines with aircraft on the ground or in a test cell environment, measuring engine speed, fuel flow, fuel pressure, ambient temperature, and pressure. It stores aircraft identification data, prints test results, and includes a data acquisition unit for heater probe temperature control, engine thermocouple harness, and probe control unit for testing thermocouples. The JD-80 analyzes, records, and prints critical engine parameters during engine operation in various environmental conditions and features military unique cable connections.

Howell Industries Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded an $8,631,828 firm-fixed-price requirements-type contract for delivery of the JetCal Analyzer JD-80. This contract will provide a test unit used with the TF-33 engines on B-52 and E-3 Air Force aircraft. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2026.
