Government Description
An/ALR-56M advanced radar warning system (SPARES) provides replacement components for the an/ALR-56M electronic warfare weapon system. This includes the purchase of frequency converters (NSN 5963-01-604-5192EW, P/N 330381-702), which are sub-components of the direction finding receiver line replacement unit used in F-16 C/D and C-130J aircraft. The an/ALR-56M continuously detects and intercepts radio frequency signals, analyzes and separates threat signals from non-threat signals, and displays threat signals to the pilot on a priority basis.
