Oct 2023: Raytheon Co., El Segundo, California, was awarded a firm-fixed-price, five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract at a maximum dollar value of $60,427,336 for the procurement of space communication security flight products. This contract provides for the procurement and delivery of an Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) Crypographic Engine and ancillary items. Work will be performed at El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2027. This contract was a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2023 Space Force procurement funds in the amount of $2,465,784 are being obligated at time of award.
