Government Description
The services provided under this contract provide radioactive gas analysis supporting the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) mission. The contractor performs processing and analysis of gas samples, including initial elemental assay using gas chromatographs to determine constituent fractions, chromatographic separation of specified fractions, and radiometric and beta spectrometric analysis of separated analyte fractions. The contractor is also responsible for maintaining, repairing, and evaluating government-furnished equipment, identifying long-term equipment performance trends, and recommending improvements and replacements.
