Government Description
Project Air Force (PAF) provides studies, analysis, and research to address mission needs of the Department of the Air Force. Includes analytic support for operational imperatives, development of frameworks for program assessment and evaluation, manpower analysis for space training and readiness command (STARCOM), and assessment of modernization options for Air Force capabilities. Additional efforts involve evaluating energy and water management solutions, developing computational cognitive models for personalized linguist training, and producing unclassified assessments of military balance trends between the United States and China. The contract also supports research on topics such as B-21 fielding and testing, command and control (C2) and Battle Management (BM) for pulsed air operations, and integrating artificial intelligence for command team selection.
