GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES PROVIDED AT 12 USAF VISITING FORCE INSTALLATIONS IN THE UK, INCLUDING RAF LAKENHEATH, RAF MILDENHALL, RAF FELTWELL, RAF MOLESWORTH, RAF ALCONBURY, RAF FAIRFORD, RAF CROUGHTON, RAF WELFORD, RAF CAVERSFIELD, RAF BARFORD ST. JOHN, RAF BRAMPTON, AND RAF BLENHEIM CRESCENT. THE CONTRACTOR PERFORMS NON-PERSONNEL SERVICES SUCH AS MOWING, EDGING, TRIMMING, WEED CONTROL, DEBRIS AND DEAD ANIMAL REMOVAL, LEAF REMOVAL, LAWN CONDITIONING, FERTILIZATION, AERATION, PEST CONTROL, LAWN RENOVATION, PRUNING OF SHRUBS AND HEDGES, AND MAINTENANCE OF SEMI-IMPROVED AND UNIMPROVED GROUNDS. ADDITIONAL TASKS INCLUDE MAINTAINING PERIMETER FENCE LINES, BIRD AREA STRIKE HAZARD (BASH) AND SITE OF SPECIAL SCIENTIFIC INTEREST (SSSI) AREAS, SURFACE DRAINAGE DITCHES, SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL, ICE CONTROL SERVICES, AND ROAD SWEEPING SERVICES. LEAF CLEARANCE AND ROAD SWEEPING ESTIMATES HAVE BEEN UPDATED FOR SEVERAL RAF LOCATIONS.
