Jul 2017:
Texas Workforce Commission, Austin, Texas, has been awarded an $117,678,195 requirements contract for full food services. The contractor will provide, except as specified in this performance work statement as government-furnished property or services, all personnel, supervision, equipment, and any items and services necessary to perform non-personal, full-food service at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, dining facility management; accounting; cooking; food requisition and preparation; serving and replenishing food; cleaning facilities; property and utensils; maintenance of food service and information technology hardware; preparing vegetables and fruits for the salad bar; cleaning/sanitizing tables in dining areas; performing cashier services; handling foods, supplies, and property; maintaining quality control; ensuring operator maintenance and repair of food service property; and in the event of contingency, perform all required tasks to include continued service. This award is the result of a competitive small business set-aside solicitation under the Randolph Shepard Act, and a total of six offers were received. Work will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, and is expected to be complete by July 31, 2022. The 502nd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA3016-17-D-0012).
