Government Description
This effort is for training support of the Air Combat Training System (ACTS) mission. The contractor shall provide continuity of operations and well-maintained equipment to safely accommodate all aircrew training needs. ACTS is a computer-based data communication and tracking network that includes data and voice communication circuits, computer hardware, software, electronic circuitry, and electromechanical devices, supporting an integrated realistic training environment for on-site and off-site aircrew and ground support crew training. The contractor is responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, and providing technical support for ACTS at luke AFB, AZ, gila bend auxiliary field, AZ, and holloman AFB, NM, furnishing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to meet performance standards.

Mar 2024: Tunista Logistics Solutions LLC, Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a contract in the amount of $30,883,104. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition, one of solicitations mailed and four offers received. This contract will provide Air Combat Training System services, which will include an integrated realistic training environment in support of on-site and off-site aircrew and ground support crew training. Work will be performed at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, and Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Work is expected to be complete March 31, 2029. Fiscal 2024 funds in the amount of $5,759,988 are being obligated at the time of award. The contracting activity is the 338 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas (FA3002-24-D0001). (Awarded March 27, 2024)
