Government Description
Eglin paving contract provides asphalt paving and concrete support to eglin AFB, FL. The scope of work includes resurfacing, full depth reconstruction, and new full-deep construction of bituminous concrete and Portland cement concrete pavements, with all work self-performed and not subcontracted. Contractors must have in-house laboratory capabilities for asphalt testing and produce asphalt within a reasonable distance for timely delivery to large road and airfield construction projects. Additional tasks include clearing, excavating, grading, construction of curb return widenings, ramp-downs, crack repairs, foundation walls, and footings, as well as placing at least 1,500 tons of airfield pavement per day during runway milling and overlay construction.
