Government Description
SURFACE PLATE CALIBRATION SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) PURCHASE DESCRIPTION (PD) 25M-246A-DI, REV. 1, DATED 13 MAR 2025. INCLUDES PROVIDING COMMERCIAL OR COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE OFF-THE-SHELF (COTS) SURFACE PLATE CALIBRATION SYSTEMS THAT ARE NEW AND MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS IN THE PD, INCLUDING SECURED WIRELESS TRANSMISSION (SUCH AS BLUETOOTH) ADHERING TO AFMETCAL CYBER SECURITY REQUIREMENTS, AND DESIGNATED INPUT/OUTPUT INTERFACE PROTOCOLS FOR CUSTOM OEM WIRED CONNECTIONS OR STANDARD USB CONNECTIONS. OFFERORS MUST SUPPLY A CONSOLIDATED MANUAL FOR FIELD USE, PROVIDE 2D ENGINEERING DRAWINGS PER MIL-STD-31000B FOR DLA NATIONAL STOCK NUMBER ESTABLISHMENT, AND ENSURE NO OEM RESTRICTIONS PREVENT USG SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR SYSTEM INTERFACING. A COMPUTER IS NOT REQUIRED IF THE OEM SOFTWARE IS COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS PER THE PD, AND UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION LABELS MUST BE AFFIXED IN ACCORDANCE WITH DFARS, WITH MILITARY SHIPPING LABELS WAIVED IN FAVOR OF COMMERCIAL TRACKED SHIPPING LABELS.
