EFAST DTFAWA10A-00144; WTIC, RE&D THIS WEATHER TECHNOLOGY IN THE COCKPIT (WTIC) TASK ADDRESSES A QUICK SURVEY TO DATA MINE NEXT GENERATION (NEXT GEN) DOCUMENTATION FOR MATURITY OF INFORMATION AND REPEATABILITY OF WEATHER INFORMATION TO SUPPORT NEXT GEN OPERATIONS. IN ADDITION, A QUICK COMMERCIAL INDUSTRY AND GOVERNMENT SURVEY WILL BE CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE WHAT CURRENT AND PLANNED (NEXT 3 YEARS) WEATHER CAPABILITIES WILL BE INTEGRATED INTO THE COCKPIT. THE INFORMATION DERIVED FROM THIS TASK WILL BE USED TO IDENTIFY THE WTIC GAPS TO SUPPORT WEATHER SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AND COLLABORATIVE DECISION IN THE COCKPIT. TAS::69 8108::TAS
