Government Description
Libera, Earth Venture Continuity 1 (EVC-1) mission. Provide an instrument to be integrated on the upcoming Joint Polar Satellite System-3 (JPSS-3) satellite that will measure Short Wave (SW), Long Wave (LW), and total radiation at the top of the atmosphere (TOA). Includes support at the payload system level for assembly, integration, alignment, test, characterization, calibration, verification, and environmental qualification for delivery of the fully qualified libera flight instrument. Additional tasks include support for spacecraft Integration And Test (I&T) planning and verification with jpss, implementation of a modified T0 purge system on the libera instrument, and provision of an internal Absolute Time Sequence (ATS) separate from the jpss satellite operation command table, with delivery of a binary file in the libera ATS format.
