Government Description
Laboratory services provided to support the red lake and cass lake Indian Health Service (IHS) service units. The contractor supplies up to six Medical Technologists (MT) and/or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) to cover day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as required. Includes laboratory specimen collection, processing, testing, and reporting; performing routine and specialized tests in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and serology; conducting quality control procedures, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting; following laboratory procedures and safety policies; participating in proficiency testing and quality assurance programs; completing laboratory reports and maintaining supplies; and ensuring compliance with infection control practices according to accreditation standards.
