CMS alliance to modernize healthcare (HEALTH) Federally Funded Research & Development Center (FFRDC) provides dedicated, objective expert strategic assistance via research and development to CMS, HHS, and its operating divisions to improve america's healthcare system. The HEALTH FFRDC performs research and analysis on various HEALTH topics, supports enterprise approaches for HHS and other federal agencies with healthcare missions, and advances strategic plans, policies, and initiatives. Includes threat management process integration, advancing CDC readiness and response, air ambulance quality and safety analysis, building fhir capacity, strategic and operational support for cciio and NIH, cloud-based research infrastructure, technical and analytical support for critical program activities, and data strategy assessment for nia. Additional tasks involve supporting ai assurance labs, policy and operational services, process improvement for cybersecurity risks, strategic analysis for long COVID research, telemedicine research portfolio support, and development of federated ehr data collection architectures.
