The contractor shall perform dockside repairs to the United States coast guard cutter midgett (uscgc midgett, wmsl 757) in accordance with this solicitation, specification, and with each issued task order, with scope of work including all specified maintenance. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, and facilities to complete dockside repairs as outlined in the attached specifications at the vessel's home moorage in honolulu, HI. Key tasks include fire prevention planning, biennial maintenance of folding boom cranes, inspection and testing of the talon grid, removal and reinstallation of rqawts 21 D, provision of tenting and scaffolding, removal and reinstallation of fall arrest d-rings, renewal and preservation of the superstructure (top of stack), cleaning and inspection of various tanks and lift stations, modification of the sewage system, renewal of deck coverings, annual inspection and testing of the cargo handling elevator, inspection and testing of the incinerator and fire detection system, repairing and sealing polymeric deck coverings, renewing the stern deck, replacement of port steering gear hpu hydraulic piping, and cleaning and flushing of sewage piping.
