Government Description
This Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for replacement of main diesel engines on USCG 270 medium endurance cutters consists of a five-year base period and a one-year option period. Work performed includes the supply, inspection, refurbishment, and remanufacturing of main diesel engines, provision and storage of deep insurance spares, and technical representative services for engine removal, installation, and support of ship service diesel generator SETS. Additional tasks involve bearing temperature monitoring during testing, removal, crating, and shipping of items, as well as non-recurring engineering charges for engine testing and the supply of turbochargers.
