Government Description
DHS-wide Cellular Wireless Managed Services (CWMS) 2.0 provides a comprehensive commercial cellular wireless managed services solution for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Work performed includes providing cellular wireless equipment and devices, cellular and data service, Mobile Device Management (MDM), project management, in-building cellular coverage enhancements, and service desk support, as well as a web portal for device ordering, management, and reporting. The contract supports the procurement and management of wireless devices and services—including smartphones, tablets, accessories, mobile hotspots, satellite phones, and wireless plans—for various DHS components and programs, and enables access to multiple commercial carriers to ensure nationwide and regional coverage. Additional tasks include support for specialized wireless solutions such as firstnet, iridium satellite services, distributed antenna systems, archival messaging, and wireless management for specific operational needs across DHS offices and field locations.
