Government Description
CENTRAL ZONE - IDIQ CONTRACT THAT CAN SUCCESSFULLY AND EXPEDITIOUSLY SUPPLEMENT PUBLIC ASSISTANCE (PA) ACTIVITIES FOLLOWING PRESIDENTIALLY DECLARED DISASTERS. THE GOAL OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO ACQUIRE QUALIFIED CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL WITH THE TECHNICAL SKILLS TO SUPPORT FEMA PA SERVICES, INCLUDING SITE INSPECTION SUPPORT, FIELD TECHNICAL SUPPORT, PROGRAM DELIVERY MANAGER (PDMG) SUPPORT, TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR EQUIPMENT RATES AND THE COMMUNITY DISASTER LOAN (CDL) PROGRAM, PA APPEALS, AUDITS AND ARBITRATION SUPPORT, PA PROGRAM ANALYSIS, COST ESTIMATING FORMAT (CEF) SUPPORT, AND ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SERVICES SUCH AS PROGRAM DESIGN, TRAINING, MITIGATION, AND ENVIRONMENTAL AND HISTORIC PRESERVATION (EHP). WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES PROVIDING TECHNICAL SPECIALISTS TO SUPPORT DISASTER OPERATIONS AND CLOSEOUT ACTIVITIES FOR MULTIPLE DISASTERS IN TEXAS AND LOUISIANA, INCLUDING DR-4781-TX, DR-4798-TX, DR-1791-TX (HURRICANE IKE), DR-4611-LA (HURRICANE IDA), AND VARIOUS OTHER LOUISIANA DISASTERS. PROVIDES TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT FOR FEMA REGION VI DISASTER REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE PA TAC V CONTRACT.
