This IDIQ is for less lethal specialty munitions. The contract supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with the procurement of distraction devices, specialty impact and area saturation munitions, which are hand delivered and launched in 40MM launchers for training and operational use. Items procured include hand delivered pyrotechnic canisters such as smoke canisters for training (reduced toxicity), continuous discharge cs canisters, as well as various types of grenades and 40MM launched specialty impact munitions. These products are delivered to various DHS agency locations as required.
