Government Description
The asde-x system utilizes different Surface Movement Radars (SMR). Asde-x uses the Raytheon corporation surface movement radar (smrr and the sensis corporation Surface Movement Radar Improved (SMRI). The smrr is obsolete and unsupportable. This procurement will replace the obsolete smrr units with SMRI units of the asde-x at 10 nas facilities and provide logistical support Line Replacement Units (LRU).
