Government Description
The purpose of this IDIQ is to provide technical support services for the operation and maintenance of the foil laboratory. Work performed includes furnishing advanced crash analysis and transportation engineering research support services for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), office of safety, research and development (HRDS), roadway departure team, at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC). Tasks include conducting fundamental and applied research for FHWA, NHTSA, DOS, and other agencies; analyzing technical, deployment, logistical, and administrative issues; developing and applying modeling and analytical techniques; and supporting programs related to fe model development, crash simulations, product engineering, field tests, marketing, and delivery of safety products and technologies.
