Government Description
AWARD FOR HUMAN HEALTH MICROBIOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY REGULATORY SUPPORT (HHMT REGULATORY SUPPORT), AN INDEFINITE-DELIVERY, INDEFINITE-QUANTITY (SINGLE AWARDEE) CONTRACT WITH A FIVE-YEAR PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. UNDER THIS REQUIREMENT, THE CONTRACTOR PROVIDES OFF-SITE TOXICOLOGICAL AND MICROBIAL TECHNICAL AND REGULATORY SUPPORT SERVICES TO THE HEALTH AND ECOLOGICAL CRITERIA DIVISION (HECD) OF THE EPA OFFICE OF WATER, INCLUDING COLLECTING AND EVALUATING STATE-OF-THE-SCIENCE INFORMATION FOR SPECIFIC MICROBIAL AND TOXICOLOGICAL POLLUTANTS, ASSISTING IN HUMAN HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENTS, AND SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF WATER QUALITY CRITERIA, HEALTH ADVISORIES, SCREENING LEVEL BENCHMARKS, AND STANDARDS FOR POLLUTANTS IN DRINKING WATER AND BIOSOLIDS. INCLUDES SYSTEMATIC REVIEW, DATA ANALYSIS, AND DOCUMENT DEVELOPMENT FOR HUMAN HEALTH EFFECTS INFORMATION ON EMERGING CONTAMINANTS IN DRINKING WATER, TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR PFAS NATIONAL PRIMARY DRINKING WATER REGULATION, ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS FOR MEAT AND POULTRY PRODUCTS, AND UPDATING DRINKING WATER STANDARDS AND HEALTH ADVISORY TABLES.
