Government Description
The purpose of the Superfund Technical Assessment And Response Team (START) VII contract is to provide nationally consistent advisory and assistance services to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on-scene coordinators (OSCS) and other federal officials implementing EPA’s responsibilities under the national response system. Provides scientific and technical support for EPA activities to protect human health and the environment, including removal support, technical assistance and training, site assessment (hrs packages) support, remedial support, and emergency response support as needed. Services also extend to other EPA programs such as the superfund pre-remedial program and brownfields program, with all personnel required to be appropriately trained and accredited. The contractor must furnish all necessary supplies, materials, tools, and equipment, and explore green cleanup strategies when directed by osc/wam.
