Government Description
Beaufort national cemetery grounds maintenance services contract. The contractor is responsible for refilling, compacting, and leveling sunken cremains grave sites or small areas needing ground repair with suitable soil to match existing adjacent graves and reestablishing turfgrass. Tasks include regularly checking for holes and washouts, filling sunken cremation sites or holes, securing divots and holes with safety barriers until repairs are completed, reutilizing sod when possible, using only zeon zoysia sod with 98-99% purity, maintaining sodded areas through mowing and watering, replacing damaged sod, and following fertilization guidelines based on quarterly soil tests.
