Government Description
ON-SITE INSCRIPTION SERVICES PROVIDED AT FORT ROSECRANS AND MIRAMAR NATIONAL CEMETERIES (NCS). THE CONTRACTOR PERFORMS INSCRIPTION SERVICES ON GOVERNMENT-OWNED HEADSTONES, MARKERS, AND NICHE COVERS, INCLUDING INSCRIBING NAMES, RANKS, SERVICE DETAILS, AND EMBLEMS ON APPROVED MONUMENTS. ALL INSCRIPTIONS MUST MEET GOVERNMENT SPECIFICATIONS FOR FONT STYLE, DEPTH, SPACING, AND DIMENSIONS, AND THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING THE DISPOSAL OF ANY REJECTED OR DAMAGED MONUMENTS AND SECURELY STORING MONUMENTS TO PREVENT THEFT OR DAMAGE. A QUALITY CONTROL PLAN IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS.
