Fargo health care system sterile instrument maintenance and repair services. Provides Preventative Maintenance (PM) and repair services for surgical instruments, including case carts, as part of the Surgical Processing Service (SPS) at fargo VAMC. Tasks include inspection, repair, sharpening, adjustment, calibration, rust removal, and diagnostic testing for instruments, with compliance to CDC, hspa, aorn, apic, ansi, and aami standards. An online digital inventory system is used to track repair status, and onsite monthly repairs and same-day PM services for critical SETS are performed.
