VHA black hills health care system sterile instrument maintenance and repair services. Provides preventative maintenance and repair services for surgical instruments, including case carts, within the Surgical Processing Suite (SPS). Tasks include using an online digital inventory system to track instrument repair status, performing preventative maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards, sharpening, adjusting, aligning, cleaning, and calibrating instruments, and providing onsite repairs twice weekly for unscheduled needs and same-day PM services for critical SETS.
