Government Description
Ambulance services IDIQ for Central Iowa VA Health Care System (CIVAHCS). Provides all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, and equipment necessary to deliver stretcher transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services to veterans. Services are available 24/7 and include both emergent and non-emergent ambulance transportation, as well as the transport of patient luggage and medical records at no additional cost. The contractor ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, conducts background checks, and utilizes va-approved software for scheduling and managing transport requests.
