Government Description
Minneapolis VAMC blood bank products and services IDIQ. Provides the minneapolis VA healthcare system with a range of blood bank products and transfusion-related laboratory testing, including red blood cells (leukocyte reduced, irradiated, saline washed), platelets (psoralen treated, pas lvds, irradiated), frozen plasma, cryoprecipitate, granulocyte apheresis, and emergency blood products as needed. Services also include laboratory tests such as platelet crossmatch, rbc antigen negative, abo and rh typing, antibody screening and identification, antibody elution, dat, rh phenotype, differential adsorption, neutrophil and hla antibody identification, and platelet antibody screens. Products and services are supplied on an on-demand basis to support patient care and operational efficiency at the minneapolis VAMC.
