Government Description
Williston and dickinson Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) provide primary care services. Includes staffing with qualified physicians, physician assistants (PAS), nurse practitioners (NPS), nurses, and other primary care staff, with at least one Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) MD required in person between the two locations and a Medical Director (MD) who may serve remotely. The clinics perform a range of common primary care procedures such as skin biopsies, joint injections, wound care, battlefield acupuncture, inserting/removing foley catheters, cryotherapy, superficial abscesses, tick removal, joint aspiration, and women's health procedures. Laboratory services must be accredited (CAP, clia, joint commission, or CDC), and administrative support staff are responsible for patient scheduling, medical record documentation, record processing and reporting, grievance system, and quality assurance and performance improvement.
