Government Description
Ground ambulance transportation service CON94 provides non-emergent ambulance transportation for the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS) and its associated community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCS). The contractor supplies all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and reporting necessary for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services in accordance with Arizona state bureau of medical service and Arizona department of health services regulations. Services include transporting patients with their luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items at no additional cost, maintaining ambulances compliant with federal, state, and local regulations, and ensuring timely response times for scheduled and unscheduled transport requests. All personnel must meet contract and regulatory qualifications, including background checks, and emts and paramedics must be certified and licensed according to state requirements.
