Government Description
Cardiovascular technologist staffing services for the VA greater Los Angeles healthcare system. Provides a minimum of 7 cardiovascular technologists for the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab at VAGLAHS, with personnel required to be licensed and certified as registered vascular technologists from ardms. Cardiovascular technologists perform diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, monitor cardiac rhythms, operate radiologic fluoroscopy equipment, collect blood samples, and assist in various cardiovascular tests. Contractor personnel may be required to work weekends and/or holidays if circumstances warrant, and on-call technologists must return to the labs within 30 minutes when paged after regular shifts.
