Government Description
Ground ambulance service CON54 provides contracted non-emergency ambulance transportation for the southern Arizona VA healthcare system (SAVAHCS), its community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCS), and affiliated healthcare clinics. The contractor supplies all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Specialty Care Transport (SCT), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services as needed. Services are available 24/7, including weekends and holidays, and include transportation of patient luggage and medical records at no additional cost. All work is performed in accordance with Arizona state bureau of medical service and Arizona department of health services regulations, as well as federal, state, and local requirements.
