Government Description
Blood products, reference labs, and related services provided to specified VA VISN 22 west sites. The contractor supplies human blood components and blood-related reference laboratory services to the greater Los Angeles, loma linda, san diego, and long beach healthcare systems. All products and services must comply with aabb accreditation, FDA licensing and registration, dhhs compliance, and clia licensing, and blood products must be collected under aseptic conditions, processed in appropriate solutions, labeled according to isbt 128 standards, and free of hemolysis, clots, and excessive chyle.
